Day 1 – Rome
Welcome to Rome, a glorious city filled with Classical antiquities, medieval buildings, Renaissance palaces and baroque churches. On arrival at Rome’s Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport you’ll find our driver waiting holding a sign with your name for the transfer to your hotel located in the heart of the old city. Today, take advantage of a day at leisure, so rest up as you prepare to embark on your Italian adventure!
Day 2 – Vatican Tour 3 hours
In the morning (suggested at 9am) meet at your hotel our driver with the local guide for a fascinating private tour of the Vatican. Start in the Galleries of the Vatican Museum, home to the most celebrated art collection in Europe. The museum tour ends in the spectacular Sistine Chapel, the extreme expression of Michelangelo’s genius. Last but not least, you will visit the largest sanctuary of Christianity, St. Peter’s Basilica, where proportions appear to have been forgotten in an amazing triumph of marble, bronze and mosaic works. The balance of the day is at your leisure.
Day 3 – Ancient Rome Tour 5 hours
A new fascinating private tour of the wonders of the Ancient Romans is waiting for you. With our driver and the local guide you will be transported back to the days of the Caesars and the Roman legions, as you visit the Circus Maximus, site of Ben Hur style races, the Roman forum, and the incomparable Colosseum. After a little break for your lunch the tour continues to the Pantheon, Trevis’s Fountain, Spanish Steps and other beautiful squares and fountains of this charming city!…
Day 4 – Rome – Umbria – Florence 8 hours
Depart in the morning (suggested at 9am) with our driver for a delightful day of sightseeing on your way to Florence. First stop in northern Lazio is Civita di Bagnoregio. The town is perched on the summit of a deep canyon. It has a very surreal quality as the only way in or out of the town is by a concrete foot bridge. Truly an experience! In Umbria you will stop in Orvieto, famous for its Etruscan ruins as well as its Gothic cathedral and the excellent wines preserved in its underground cellars. Continue to Florence, drop off at your next hotel located in the historical city around 4pm.
Day 5 – Florence Tour & Pisa
Your private local guide will meet you in the morning (suggested at 9am) at your hotel for the 3 hours private walking tour of the city. Florence’s rich past as the cultural centre of the Italian Renaissance can still be seen today in the wealth of art gathered here and in the preservation of its splendid architecture. The tour includes visits of the Duomo and the Baptistery, the Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio, and the famous Accademia Gallery. Meet the driver after lunch for a pleasant car tour of 3 hours to Pisa to admire the celebrated and famous Leaning Tower
Day 6 – Florence
Today is free for you to enjoy Florence on your own for shopping or relax. Optional excursions or tours can be arranged as a relaxing Chianti Wine tour, a cooking class, or other…Ask to our booking office for some suggestions!
Day 7 – Florence – Venice
Leave Florence in the morning for Venice with our driver. Upon arrival at the Venice taxi-bus terminal “Piazzale Roma” continue by private boat your journey to your next hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 8 – Venice Tour 3 hours
Venice’s charm lies both in its unique civil engineering achievements, and in the harmony of Eastern and Western artistic styles that have flourished here over the centuries. Our guide will meet you at your hotel (suggested at 9am) for start the private guided walking tour including some of the major sights that define the look and history of Venice, Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica and St. Mark’s Square. Balance of the day is at your leisure. Upon request is possible to organize a relaxing private Gondola tour in the afternoon. Please advise.
Day 9 – Arrivederci Italia
After check out from the hotel you’ll find the private motor boat for the transfer directly to Venice International Airport according to the departure time of your flight. Upon request we can transfer you to other destination.
