Credit card details
As part of the purchase and registration processes, we collect clients' contact information (such as their address and email address) and financial information (such as their account or credit card numbers, expiration dates, and security codes). When applicable, we verify our client- provided credit card information with a third party prior to order processing. Private Tour of Italy.com asks you to use a secure payment medium for forwarding your credit card details, as in your booking correspondence. Please follow the steps suggested to ensure that your credit card details remain confidential. Once received by Private Tour of Italy.com, your credit card details will be handled only by approved employees or consultants within Private Tour of Italy.com, and forwarded in a secure manner to Private Tour of Italy.com's bank for processing. Private Tour of Italy.com will not use your credit card details for any other purpose than payment processing and will not forward it to any exterior person or organization. Your credit card will be charged only for the amounts explicitly agreed upon and its details will not be held as security.
Itinerary Changes
Due to the nature of expeditions, tour packages, excursions and/or other services provided; weather, acts of God, government, and/or airline regulations may require changes to be made to the itineraries and/or the cancellation of certain excursions or add-ons. Every attempt will be made to adhere to the itineraries described within the limits of safety and time. In the event of changes, passengers have no right to any refund or other compensation, for these tours, excursions, accommodations and/or transportations, except where provided by the particular providers of said services. Expedition, excursions, and/or tour fees are based on group participation. Should you choose not to take part in any activity or make use of services provided, no refund will be made.
Passport and Visas
It is the passenger(s) responsibility to obtain any and all documents required for travel, including, but not limited to valid passports, exit and/or entry/re-entry visas, and any other documents required by the respective immigration officials of the country/ies you are to visit and/or return to, as well as any required and/or needed vaccinations prior or after your travel.
Booking, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Booking, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds policies as specified on your individual offer apply to your individual booking. Standard policy applied by Private Tour of Italy.com is:
30% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking - 70% to be paid 45 days before the beginning of the tour.
Cancellations: the 30% deposit is non refundable; 50% refund for cancellations received in writing until 30 days before departure; 20% refund for cancellations received in writing until 10 days before departure; no refund for cancellations received later.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of Friday 1 January 2010. Private Tour of Italy.com reserves the right to modify the terms of this policy at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting a change notice to this page. Your continued use of the Site following our posting of a change notice will constitute binding acceptance of those changes.
